Math features a nice hammerite-textured paint job in bronze, silver, and black, a beautiful silver knob with a clear area to see the games you can play (see below), and a strange piece of metal as the human contact resistance point. The look I was going for was an unearthed alien artifact, and I think it worked. This is a fun gadget.

| Here is detail of the top of the gadget. The surreal
statement that is visible thru the knob reflect the original games that
are playable on the Speak & Math. (I love this knob!) Note the clear glass blobby thing that covers the optical resistor--originally it was for putting into the base of vases to make them look pretty. Works better here, and is slightly dichroic. |
