A super-geek-fest, the Maker Faire was excellent, and overwhelming.

I was part of a panel at the Maker Faire called "Making Instruments, Making Music" moderated by Marc Weidenbaum of the excellent music review site disquiet.com. The panel consisted of me (univac), Chachi Jones, and Krys Bobrowski. I discussed my circuit bent gadgetry, Chachi spoke of his own in addition to his on-the-fly usage of Ableton Live, and Krys talked of and demonstrated her amazing custom-built glass harmonica and sea onion kelp horns.

The talk was very fun and enthusiastically enjoyed by the audience, which included many children.
